What I meant by that was that the slower burning powder which produces lower velocities would require an increase in the amount of lead you have to give a bird.
I think that the change required is measured in inches, and is a proportion of a forward allowance measured overall in as many feet.
In practice, I think it is not likely that it would make an appreciable difference.
I'm not sure that slower-burning powder would per se produce lower velocities in any case.
