10 pages of SD , totall 200 threads and 86 of them are for sale adds , I know we have gear to sell, and there are buyers , but do think this is spoiling sd a little bit , thoughts please

That means 114 threads weren’t. And despite the member numbers, given the core active individuals, I’d say this was a healthy discourse for what many engage in, part time, as a sport.

No but seeing how pigeon watch got terrorised by zapp I suggest that the fear from sellers may be that the site might change after the new owners take over, it is only my theory.

Thread '‘New posts’ - How to only show the forums you are interested in? (e.g ignoring Classifieds)'

'New posts' is customisable and you can choose which forums to see and which to ignore. 'What's new' shows everything and is not customisable.

When you press 'New Posts' (not 'What's new') you can set only the forums you're interested in, the rest will be ignored. On each Forum page (e.g here is one) there is a "Watch" button you can press.




You can set it to give notifications, or switch the notifications off. If all you want is customising ‘New posts’ choose “Don’t send notifications”.

My thought is no, it’s not spoiling the site

When I want to see 'all' I simply click 'Show only: Watched' to Off.



That is beauty of the forum, there are many ways to suit what you want.
