.223 Seating die For .222

Can't see why not.. But suck it and see. It is certainly a fancy thing, and doubtless well worth the money, if you can detect the benefits.



But there again they have two different part numbers so, whatever.

I can't see why it wouldn't work? Resize an old case and shove a bullet in it, see what happens. I was reloading my .35 whelen (necked up .30-06 case) with a set of .357 pistol dies for a while. Where there's a will, there's a way!
 
I really can't see why it wouldn't work. The .222 is just 0.060" shorter than the .223. (1.700" vs 1.760") Otherwise the case dimensions are pretty much the same. Only real difference is that the .222 has a longer neck than the .223 (hence less case capacity but maybe more accuracy). As long as the micrometer top has enough adjustment range. If not, then I suppose a slightly longer (60/1000") seating stem might be all that's needed
