It’s why the ever-wonderful 22 Hornet was invented.

It was outdoors. The one shot next to number 8 was a shot aimed at number 8 after tweaking the scope. Not part of that group. That's an exceptionally good group if its at 100 metres. Even if its the best of several groups, it's still exceptional. Was that indoors or outdoors?
I was just looking at the grouping at that point. It will do sub 1/2 moa all day long.Should be ok when you finished zeroing it![]()

Post #9 did but they’re unlikely to gain too many supporters at c£25 per 100.Lapua Midas haven’t been mentioned yet and are very accurate in my cz452. 10-15mm ten shot groups at 50m but I’ve never tried at 100m
So slightly less in price than Eley Tennex.Post #9 did but they’re unlikely to gain too many supporters at c£25 per 100.

You are correct, I think I must have missed a whole page of the thread!Post #9 did but they’re unlikely to gain too many supporters at c£25 per 100.

You certainly didn’t purchase them at the NSRA Camp Bisley shop! You are correct, I think I must have missed a whole page of the thread!
I also must have got a good deal on Midas then as I only paid £20/100 clearing the last out of my local gun shop. Cheaper than centrefire ammo is what I tell myself.

I still have around 500 of them laying around.......
That's some epic testing; thanks for posting the link.Table robbed from "Accurate Shooter" Certainly demonstrates the differences in accuracy between manufacturers NB: this is a few years old & bit out of date. You are being redirected...
Has anybody tried the new (ish) Sellier & Bellot 40GN sub HP? How do these compare? (I think the table entry is the high velocity)
The table shows the OLD Eley sub HP 40GN The new version is 38GN
In my experience what was the best hollow point sub on the market is now the worst & after testing several batches in 5 different guns recon the group at 100yds should be nearer 2.5 inches. What is Eley playing at?
