243 Ackley

I have just got a .243 ackley and struggling to find any load data for my chosen bullet and powder. Barnes TTSX 80gr and RS70. Does anyone have any experience of these?

Not a .243 but my ackkey I just followed the standard load data but went over the recommended load data until I hit a node or if I hit pressure then I backed it off

I’d start at the max load for the parent case (.243 Win) and work up from there.

I would definitely not start at book max and work up. Tried that with my .243 Ackley and ended up having a very tight bolt.

Follow book and work up to, then gradually over max. I tried several powders before achieving the required results

brass has been sized in an Ackley die. Definitely not much info around for RS70 for .243 but is recommended for .243 by the company unless I am missing something obvious

With my 280 ack I started with a standard 280 load and worked up. Did the job nicley
