.243 field cleaning kit

Hi, wondering if anyone had a personal recommendation for a field based cleaning kit for a .243, wether it’s a pull through kit, or just a bore snake etc. Got a set of rods, brushes etc at home, but not ideal to have in your field bag or pockets. Cheers, Craig

A pull through is handy for field use, but obviously won't clear a major blockage.

Just the snake and electric tape in the bag ,the rest is on the bench at home but if shat happens and I cant get rods i'll go back to Digs and find a wire coat and unbend it then clean with snake. Or a set of SA80 or two in the boot wont hurt.

Heard of people using a piece of pvc coated curtain wire?

Pro hunt do a handy one that fits in a bag or pocket with a semi rigid plastic coated cable bore snake, wire brushes in various sizes, oil bottle, and brass jags. I think it goes from .22 to .308. I got mine from my local Army Surplus.

Get a net curtain, plastic coated wire you can coil it up great for a blockage then use bore snake. Hope it helps

So you've got a SA80 kit in your bag too?
I've got one but if I didn't also have the Decathlon kit I would be looking to add another set of rods so that it would go all the way up the barrel.

You never know also have a 45acp brass brush for case separation push twist and withdraw reload carry on pmsl
