Having the above build done my barrel of choice was a Kreiger, or Bartlin, but cant get one in the twist i wanted, does anyone have first hand experience on a Benchmark barrel, thanks in advance

Benchmark have good provenance in conpetition

Brux are another alternative - again with (huge) provenance in competition (F Class, Benchrest)

I’ve used both competitively and for builds (historically)

No issues with them whatsoever

Any of the tier one barrels will suffice

End user steerage is usually the limiting factor ,,,,👍🏻

I wanted a Kreiger, or Bartlin cant get a Brux either in 8.5 twist,or other option was a Benchmark in 8.5,but i might just go for a Kreiger in 9 twist,i am looking to shoot 162grain for hunting, 184grain for targets, also 180 grain ELDM

Benchmark are great barrels. I have an 8.5 twist Bartlein that LOVES the 162 eld's and the 183 SMK, they are incredible on game animals.

A 1-9 twist will happily shoot all three bullets, I’ve done it. Cut rifled Benchmark barrels are very good, Brux barrels can be purchased from Pete Walker or use Dasherman for a Bartlien.
