Any thoughts welcomed, shooting out to 1800m

I’ve just had a 30” 1/9 tube put on mine and have had some luck with Berger 208s but they’re like hens teeth and I am running low.

Could just “default” to hornady 208-212, think the 225 or 230 a-tips might be a bit much for our elevations? I was also not very impressed with the consistency of the 208s I had before (weight or ogive)

Possibly the Sierra 220 but the BC seems a bit low for the weight

Maybe the Sierra 200s as their BC are very good

All I really care about is actually being able to get them 🤣

Could you stabilise the 230 A-tips ?

I have a 300NM, 1:10 which is happy with the 225's, would a 1:9 struggle ?

The a-tips should be fine in a 1/9 but I’ll run the stability calcs later, they might be sub by the mile, the 208s are transonic
So the a-tips are likely to be just at the top end of “marginally stable” if I can get them up to 2850

I’m seriously thinking about the Sierra 200gn, the 2231, they very stable and I expect I can push them about 3100 which is a mil less drop than the 208s

Well tried the Sierra 200s but the throat is way too long on my rifle to be able to load them.
Shot some of my remaining Berger and again could only get down to a 30ES,

Might just suck it up and go back to the 225s and see if I can get the ES down with them
