.308 Ammo

Hi - have just bought a Remington 700 in .308 (thanks Tackleberry / Ben - am trying Remington Core Lokt and Federal Power Shok - both in 150g

I guess I just start a process of suck it and see - but wondered if anybody has any experience or advice?

Hi Rich,

I feed my 308 150g hornady SST interlocks and they have never let me down.
I am just getting into home loading but think I will stick with the 150 SSTs.

At the end of the day it's what works in your set up that counts.

Seems most rifles shoot well with sst's, give em a go. Nosler green tips are well worth a look also. Put a dozen 308cal 150 grain sst heads on the scales last night & they were bang on for weight consistancy.

hi mate ive tried hornady sst 150 grain in rem 700 and found them to be excellent
