.308 Sierra Game Changer vs Hornady SST?

Been shooting factory Sako Super Hammerheads for a while and considering changing things up.

I'm thinking of going 150 grain factory Sako Gamehead Pro with the Sierra Game Changers OR Hornady Super performance SSTs.

Anybody used either? Is one more.liable.to explode than the other?

I’ve used the Hornady SST 150g in home loads and factory, both shot well and did the job on Roe, Fallow and Red deer. Non of them exploded though. Can’t say for the Sako 150g, never tried them. Did use a box of 123g Sako Gameheads years ago and found them a bit rough on Roe deer.

Not tried the game changers as yet but I'm sure I remember reading that alot of reloaders have had trouble getting them to group satisfactorily

Yeah I've shot the SST Super performance on targets and they're very accurate. Ragged hole at 100 meters. Just wasn't sure on how well they would hold up. I've heard horror story's about both.

I've heard the Fiocchi EPNs are loaded with SSTs. Perhaps the slightly slower speed compared to the super performance line might make them less explosive :-|
