Thanks, I'm hoping to be able to offer them for sale in May.Are you close to offering these kits for sale?
Thank youThat’s brilliant, I’d definitely be interested in a set once you get going.
Top job!![]()
Thank you, yes there seems to be some interest in a V front cradle. I'm sending one to @Tim.243 to test next week.Very neat idea!
Looking forward to kits being available to buy.
Will the V front, rather than flat front, be an option?
Hello, Super jobHere are the completed sticks ready for a friend to test.
950g configured for around 5ft10 height.
A couple of points for discussion or opinions on please:
1. Add a length of thin paracord to limit front/rear splay.
2. Front cradle is about 90mm inside dimension - do you want this to be wider?
3. I might add small magnets into the top and bottom bits to keep legs neatly bundled for carrying, but this adds complexity and some cost. Sticks are easy to carry as is.

Bottom hinge (& yokes) is TPU rubber, granted it is quite hard. I could make the hole go thru the hinge so that the stick can go through it and walking stick ferrule could be added below.@takbok I don't think magnets are required but a nice touch. On the bottom hinge could you add 10 to 20mm to allow for a rubber ferrel to be added if required?! Not only would they dampen noise on tracks but also add to the grip to the floor and reduce the chance of them slipping at the last moment before you take the shot!
Printed a couple sets this weekend. I would like to to add a stop to the lower hinges to limit how far they open so will hopefully get a chance to do that later.Hello, Any updates on your Quad sticks project ??
