3d printed DIY quad sticks

I will take a set too please takbok. When you are ready! Hope your printer is coping with all the extra work it's about to be doing. Cheers.

So the big question which will cause many days of debate…….

Who sells the best garden canes? ;)
Hello, Canes ? or do you mean Plastic covered steel tubed poles, ? Most Garden centres sell them but Toolstation seem the best value at £10 X 4 , I may even go and get a set of poles myself just in case :-|

Sooo...

Apollo garden canes are the right shade of green, and fit my inserts like a glove. I looked at B&Q recently and didn't like the dark shade of green and £4 price.

Toolstation are a bit slow but they seem to be the cheapest source:

Yes garden canes aka plastic covered steel poles.

I bought BnQ ones before Takbok started this project and they were quite expensive, and I also don’t like how thin the plastic coating is compared to my OG poles I bought from a garden centre 5+ years ago. They’re very noisy and metallic in comparison.

Tool Station had them in-stock which was a 12, minute drive, on the counter was a good deal (for me) cr2032 pack of 4 bargain price fit the various Vernier's & height gauge.

I've messaged interested parties re the first 10 Quad Stick kits available for postage on Saturday. I'll try to contact the rest that have expressed interest by Saturday.

I'm sorry it's such a slow process.

I got my 6ft3 set assembled and glued on Sunday. I'll hopefully take them out tonight for a stalk.

Production is ongoing - with very few glitches fortunately. I'm hoping to message folks on Friday with a payment link and get a few sets posted on Saturday.

Awesome work. Did the deer play ball and allow a proper field test? They look as good as anything I have seen or owned. Love seeing this sort of stuff being done by people who have been in the field and know what will work and what won't work.

Thank you! I got the sticks out on Wednesday night. It was fairly eventful...

I made a poor shot on a young buck due to angle. It ran, and I fortunately managed to shoot it again on the run using sticks. I missed another at 200m - I haven't been shooting much recently and need more practice!!

I'm happy with the design now - no frills and long lasting.
