that looks bloody brilliant you seem to be a man with very fine tastes, one day i hope the gods of money shine on me and i can invest in such works of art. all ways had a passion for the dangerous game rifles. Not even got an FAC yet but would love to have one of these even if i only got to fire it twice a year down the range. i remember being in the royal armories in leeds and seeing the old double rifles and drooling

Very kind my friend, actually it almost bankrupted me to buy it but a great mate of mine had it for sale and while I paid too much for it, he was strapped for cash and I really just had to have it, so I bent the plastic and sold my soul. It's a lovely rifle for sure but in truth my CZ's are what I do 95% of my hunting with.

Heym is lovely, Kreighoff too and I've stumbled into some lovely rifles by other manufacturers too, all of which have been the pride and joy of their owner. But if you want a robust, accurate rifle which will put up with all sorts of abuse and never let yu down - buy a CZ.

When I visit new Outfitters for my business, one of the things I look at is their own rifle and the estate rifles that guests get to use. You'd be shocked at some of the crap people think is acceptable to loan a client and aside from that, you can tell a fair bit about a hunter by the way he maintains his tools. I've found that in Africa maybe 80% of our Guides and PH's use CZ and BRNO rifles - price is obviously a factor, but for rugged reliability in lion / leopard / elephant / buffalo / hyaena country then I don't think you can really beat a CZ550 Safari - the Safari Classic is just a more refined and polished version but all work well enough in my hands!

I think if i was out in dangerous game territory i'd like something reliable in my hands and something i know has the stopping power to put said animal down.
Its just another thing on the wish list and maybe just maybe it might come true. It may have almost bankrupted you but think of the joy you get just getting it out of the cabinet let a lone using it for the purpose it was designed for. In my opinion a very wise investment hope to make the same kind of investment one day.
