I would get the dies, form up some dummy cases with bullets from virgin brass, and ask for rifle for which that round would fit.

I priced some 142 SMK's the other day, here, in the city. Sixty-two dollars US per hundred. Holy crap. Went home and ordered some more PPU 120 grain BTHP's @ $190/1000. I can't imagine what they would cost in the UK.

Are you going to go all trailer trash on the shooting world and eventually ask Lee to make you a collet die for your 6.5?? A cool investment of $25 US and you never know.....~Muir

Back 6 months ago I bought a box of 500 30 cal 155gr smks for £142 plus p&p,when enquiring about some 6.5 bullets the other week at one of the cheapest places to buy them they were more expensive than the 30 cal, told my mate about it and he said he bought some 4 months ago and they were £10 per 100 cheaper, what worries me is when this shortage thing is over will the prices go back down, they wanted £38 for a box of 100x142gr smks kinell

This may sound a bit soppy to some, the 25-06 as always floated my boat but the 25-06 also has centimental meaning to me as its the day I got married nearly 25 years ago ,not sure how she has put up with me all this time :D
