Making a 6.5 x 55 load with fox bullets and using a Sinclair comparator, which feels very wibbly wobbly compared to using Barnes TTSX. I've read the fox is a different shape for the ogive. Do I stop overthinking this and just push it in till stable?
If you jiggle the round slightly whilst applying a tiny bit of compression with the calipers you will get to a minimum measurement of cartridge base to give. This will be your measurement
