6.5 TTSX 100gr

Used them on a few Roe (not masses as I tend to reach for my .308 or .300) in 6.5x47L

Muzzle velocity is circa 3200 FPS.

The deer that made it furthest was a Roe doe at 70-80m, shot placement was quartering, entered behind the shoulder, exited in front of the far shoulder, through the top of the heart.
She made it 10 metres or so with this blood trail:

She came to rest in the RH gulley you can see in the start of the ride about 1-2 metres in. The first picture was taken w/ me standing over the shot site.

The other deer shot with the 100 TTSX that I have pictures of was a roebuck, shot at around 100M, dropped on the spot, it was a high shoulder shot due to that being all that was exposed with vegetation covering the lower half of the body.

These were both a long while back (2018/2019) but due to the rifle changing chassis and becoming significantly heavier to deal with competition shooting I don't take it stalking anymore.

Nothing wrong with that blood trail. If my shots with them looked liked that I would have carried on using them. Sounds like I probably weren't pushing them hard enough looking at your velocity.

I've tried hasler ariete 108gr in my 6.5 284, on roe ,they are going at 3425fps ,I didn't have to pin any shoulders or hit bone for expansion and they didn't need to explode to work ,range from 100-200m.
Destroyed the engine room.

It's very early days But initial thoughts are positive, heading to kintrye to see how we go with the bigger boys.
