Hi all,

Any 7mm-08 users willing to share their pet load data?

Just had a lovely lightweight (PSE stock) 20" Bartelin (1:9 twist) rifle put together by Dasherman and looking for some 120-160 grain recipes

Cheers

Nosler 140grn Ballistic tip/Accubond
41grn N150
CCI Large Rifle Primers
COL 71.7
Chrono 2656fps

(Can also use the above but with 47.7 grn of Hodgdon H4350 - if you can find some) which is also very good but is a slightly compressed load)

The N140 is a nice, easy shooting not too hot load that is exceedingly accurate......well it is in my rifle which, like yours, has a short barrel.

Normal safe reloading practice caveats apply

I use 38.1gr of N140 with a 150gr flat-based, bonded core hollowpoint by Degol on top. It's very similar to a Swift Sirocco 2, in a Steyr-Mannlicher Classic fullstock with a 20" barrel.

46gr RL15 and Nosler 120gr BT which is warm but safe in my rifle and is motoring a bit! Very accurate and emphatic on deer

I use n540 with the30-140gn bullets and n550 with the 150+. I get better than average velocities with these powders in my rifle.

139 grain Interlock over 42 grains of N140, very accurate in mine.

The N140 seems to work well for 150 grain SMK for range days. I have a box of 160 grain Game King but not tried them yet.

Barrel is 1:10 Pacnor also fitted by Neil.
