8x4 Trailer options

What is a strong and quiet alternative to an ifor Williams gd 8x4? They are well made trailers but the continuous rattling and squeaking is beginning to frustrate me when towing the quad on the forest roads ( annoying noise and definitely costing me deer).
The trailer gets a hard time of it so any other options would need to be tough, interested to see what others think of the trailers available.

single or double axle? The more axles you have the more noise I think.
also probably the biggest factor is suspension type. indespension will be quieter than leaf spring suspension. But not as heavy duty.

Single axle currently. Never had an indespension trailer, would definitely need to be tough as they take alot of punishment. I'm maybe hoping for something that doesn't exist 😂

What about a p8e? I have the p7e and after a few modifications like rubberpads behind the tailgait catches, and bit of rachet strap between body of trailer and drawbar, its really quiet.

TBH I bought a single axle trailer from a mate , converted it to a twin and managed to bolt a spare wheel on , it was a 8x4.The trailer had been built by a fabricator in Glasgow and was fully welded with a alloy floor , had it for 7 years until I needed a bigger trailer for the bigger bike . It was suspension units I fitted so not a rattle and because it was all welded and galvanised it was the bollocks . My 10x5 Ifor Williams I have now is embarassing the noise that comes of it and I know what you mean about forest roads , some of the log Lorries were quieter . On mine it’s the leaf springs that rattle as with the rear door , there’s nothing I don’t think I can do with the door but I’ve got heavy duty rubber to glue onto the leafs where it comes against the holder and hopefully that will quieten it a bit . I don’t know about the laws of fabricating your own trailer but fully welded and galvanised is the way I would go in the future .

I've got a Graham Edwards. Cheaper and more robust than an IW. Can't say I've noticed it particularly rattle but I recently bought it new. If your trailer squeaks try greasing the leaf springs and joints. Put some rubber between the tailgate and sides.

Nugent, Gamic, Brian James, Graham Edwards, Indispention, Bateson or possibly Phoenix trailers. Meredith & Eyre might be worth looking into. Also some smaller trailer makers depending on where you are located might be worth looking at.
