A bit of fun... guess the distance

Back in March a pal chased a herd of fallow does from the wood (out of the picture) on the left. They ran into the open, stopping just right of the lg tree. I shot 1, then another as they drifted up and over the ploughed field, from the vantage point of where I took the photo. Both ran less than 10m.

Q: What was the distance in meters to where they dropped?

both look about the same distance, guestimate 300m. I didnt initally see the deer, I thought it was dirt on my laptop screen :rofl:
