A heart warming New Year tale where the pikies lost!

The Whatsapp groups are a good idea as they give folks within the group instant information.

Since the police Scotland control room in Inverness was closed it can take ages to get through and I feel that some things that would get reported that don't warrant a 999 call are not getting reported and folk just hang up in trying to get through.

I am subscribed to the Rural watch Scotland scheme and emails are put out on a regular basis and I think txt's if anything is in close proximity, so something else to think about.
It is good to know what is going on around and about so you can keep your eyes and ears peeled.

Cheers

Here in Kent we have a police Rural Task Force (RTF) mobilised by a closed WhatsApp group, they are very efficient but sadly they are only a small squad working as many shifts as they can, when they can be spared from policing events like the recent ‘motorway lorry park’ when the frogs closed the channel crossing.

The pikies took full advantage and went on a spree locally.

The number of vans and trucks called in without tax/mot/ insurance is worrying.

But will they ever appear in court ?
In my experience they will get away with it, other than the loss of whatever they had with them and the car.
