A quick Hello

Lying awake a bit too early to get up before my outings start today I thought I'd say a quick hello and thanks to a few guys who popped up on here the other day and a few who sent messages and a bit about my thoughts on my work and what it's brought me over the years as a full time guide .
Thornyglatt ..Nice to read that you still visit this area it would be nice to have a cuppa when you are here sometime , I remember our first day out together well , I think you had one roe in the morning and 3 in the afternoon that was a day to remember 😊, I also remember another day that didn't go so well when you fell over with your camera in you're hand in a wet bog and think you had a miss but still good to be out , over the years I've made some good friends that I've met as clients too many to mention them all , one who has become one of my best mates and now helps me with guiding and even makes a nice dinner afterwards usually followed by too many beers , he shot his first deer with me and picked it all up quickly and was keen to listen and learn , some do some don't, so I've gone from guiding on my own ground partime over 15,000 acres to a full time guide with reds ,roe goats and boar now with 27,000 acres in total a job I love and try to make every day a good day for whoever I have out and have the best guys helping with guiding Kriss , Ben , Jacob and Dave being the main ones .
All in all its a job at the end of the day one I enjoy a lot and hope to continue meeting new and old clients and one that I realise I've been very lucky to have some of the best land in Scotland ......there goes my alarm ,time to have an hour scanning for boar before looking for roe does then Red hinds in the afternoon .
All the best and thanks to all who got in touch recently
