Anyone have information on the currant situation regarding African Swine Fever in Eastern European Boar at the moment , as I am thinking of booking a trip and don't want to be caught out with it.

Thanks for the info, I had Turkey and Serbia in mind, it looks as if their is a lot in Hungary at the moment, maybe it will die out nearer the winter.

Let's hope the best but it slowly spreads to the south in Hungary, and Serbia is definitely having cases not just in the wild boar population but in domestic pig farms too.

The first occurrences of ASF in wild boar in Serbia were reported this January, all in hunting areas.
