I am looking to book one in the new year. Any help would be grateful

The knowledge is retained in the deep recesses of your brain and will resurface in an emergency - i can attest to that!

I day, mix of theory and practical.

I certainly hope so! I fear I'm making a mistake, in doing all the training myself when I really need to train family and friends around me to look after me!

as you will learn in the training, doings something, anything, is better than watching on as someone stops breathing or is gushing blood!! If works they at least have a chance of survival, if you do nothing they won't!

About 6 months after I did my first First Aid course I had to perform CPR on a 10 month old baby I didn't have time to think, the child thankfully survived.......
