Adjustable rings

I need a set of 34mm rings for a 22LR, I bought a scope and they threw in a set of adjustable 34mm rings - they are apparently adjustable for MOA up to 20 MOA - having ever used adjustable rings I guess you clamp the scope into the rings, loosen off the base Allen screws and then adjust both at the same time??

And how robust and dependable will these be? It’s a 22LR so not a lot of recoil to worry about but I just don’t want to even bother using them if they aren’t going to be fit for purpose.

They are Vector optics - so not expensive if I had to get something different…but by the same token I’m not snobby about using them of people have experience of them working!

Any opinions?

I would opt for something more robust, less adjustable and which will give you peace of mind.
If you want additional MOA, get a 10 or 20 MOA Picatinny rail.

I was trying to get the 20 MOA mount that goes with this scope but it’s sold out…😒

It’s for a long range 22 set up…so I was trying to be frugal..but I guess that doesn’t go hand in hand with rifles! 😂

Will have a look for something else. Thanks for the input chaps! 👍🏻

I had a similar set that I put onto my indoor .22 rifle. They were fine, but it took a bit of setting up and you had to pick a range to shoot at. I set them up to shoot at 300 yds, but then wanted to shoot at 400 yds too. I moved on to the following adjustable rail -
