You mean she had a pulse and spoke to you for more than 30 seconds…..Same here, nice nurse as well![]()
Then jammed a needle in my arm..........You mean she had a pulse and spoke to you for more than 30 seconds…..![]()
Did you feel a little prick? Then jammed a needle in my arm..........![]()
I assume you mean ski masks?Just in case anyone thinks I've had a funny turn,
The vaccines work.
Wormers don't work
Being sensible in one's contacts reduces transmission, that includes distancing and masks
No, but I can recall being in a bad way with a kidney stone in A&E my friend took me in and came through with me getting assessed. Having thrown up a few times before I went in I pointed to Mike at the African nurse as the pretty junior nurse was scratching away trying to get a line in. The other nurse came over and I said to the junior nurse do you mind if your collage has a go as I am dehydrated. Bigger needle Nurse and just get the vein please, it hurt but not on the scale of the stone lolDid you feel a little prick?

If I read the Guardain on the plane, that will keep me safe...I assume you mean ski masks?
So you're confident the vaccine works ect ect., but you're also confident going on a plane {where masks are off half the time} for a skiing holiday, apres ski bars ect is perfectly safe and sensible?
Errr OK.
Er no. Brexit affects the UK only ref C19 the rest of the EU don't give a flying anymore, leave meant leave.I worked out a while ago that the restrictions are deliberately complex specifically to encourage you to give up and stay home.
But it’s purely down to Brexit that every state in Europe has its own individual set of restrictions.
You started it![]()
Not the greatest deflection is it ?If I read the Guardain on the plane, that will keep me safe...
What , your credibility as a medical 'expert' stepping up onto your soapbox to tell us 'anti vaxxers' how we are spreading disease, and how irresponsible we are ?Wrestling with it all the time
Had my Pfizer booster on Saturday. My appointment was for 0810. I was in at 0800, jabbed, and on my way home by 0805 hours.... waiting the requisite 15 minutes after the Pfizer jab...

The whole process was very slick, with cheerful volunteers marshalling the masses, and overworked NHS staff, just excelling at what they do.
In a long life of having various injections, this one rated a "10" - she was superb.
The Nurse gave me the "15 minute Pfizer" wait advice.
I walked out to the waiting area - which was filled with patients who had been given the same advice - and carried on walking.
I reckon I was more at risk in that waiting room...as indeed where the others...
I was not driving. The data says that 71% of adverse reactions to the Pfizer jab occur within 15 minutes of receiving it. The danger from anaphylaxis is the reason behind the recommended 15-minute observation period. Anaphylaxis is not something you want to experience when behind the wheel of a car, not just from your own perspective but out of respect for other road users. That's why I waited.
I drove Mrs G there and back - she said she'd have my guts for garters if I ignored the advice to wait!I was not driving.
Mrs.S62 drove me - there and back - but I take your point.
Incidentally, the Nurse explained that they are looking to revise the 15 minutes down.
Don't worry - MrsS62 is not only my part-time chauffeur, she is also a Nurse.I drove Mrs G there and back - she said she'd have my guts for garters if I ignored the advice to wait!
Mainly because I am both a terrible husband and a terrible human being.
Pr*ck, Bell*nd, stupid b*stard.I see yet again the term cockwomble being used .Can someone enlighten me please so I can use the the term with impunity .
