Advanced deer management course - Opinions?

I have done the course with BDS and found it extremely interesting and useful. If you are just a stalker following someone else's cull plan then I would suggest you may not directly use the course in your work, but for those that write up management plans for estates or want to understand more about 'good' management then I would recommend.
Any suggestions on reading material to have a look at, before attending one of the BDS courses? Feel free to PM, to avoid a thread hijack. Cheers, Dave

Just completed the BDS Deer Management course today at Sky Park. A former colleague who is now a ranger with the Forestry Commission / Forestry England recommended it to me. He said it was the best deer related training that he has done.

I thought that the course was absolutely excellent. Course syllabus was very interesting (impact surveys, cull planning, census…..many more). Nick, Glen and Dominic were great instructors and very approachable. Vast experience. A nice atmosphere in the course as well – lots of people with a deep interest in deer management. Would recommend the course very highly.
