Advice on Selling Firearms

Morning all,

Got a general post here hoping for advice on the best way to possibly sell 2 firearms, as I'm considering moving to a switch barrel system to free up some room. I have a Tikka Tac A1 in 6.5 Creedmoor at just over 1500 rds fired and the new Tikka T3x Ace target in 308 at about 700 rds fired (6.5CM comes with wildcat predator 12 moderator, MBE tuner brake fluted bolt, Permanent thumb rest and loads of load data and Gun history which I'll include on a HD. 308 comes with a new Sightron S6 5-30 x56 mrad, Wildcat elite Moderator, Aim drag bag and the upgrade Tikka Thumb rest).

In your opinions what is the best way to move them on. I'm in no particular hurry and happy to keep them if this is going to cause some hassle

Put some ads in the for sale section on here

Just put the same description and add the prices you want to sell for in the firearms for sale section, and photographs, lets folks see what's on offer.

Put some adds on here, as they are both target rifles you may have better luck on UKV. If you have a local gun shop possibly worth using their sell for service if they offer one. Take the rifles in and drop them off they advertise and sell for a percentage of the sale price.

Selling on here is very successful.

might sell more quickly without the scope

Advertise both here and UKV

Both have healthy sales sections

Price them realistically and note any defects or marks honestly with images

Remove scope and rings etc

Sell all separately unless someone wants a “package”

Perhaps also post image of accuracy with your load / factory ammo
