Aigle Altavio high boots

Afternoon all.
I need to get a new pair of boots given that my trusty old German para boots have collapsed and there none for sale anywhere (probably all being worn by the Ukrainian army!)

So, I have got down to the Aigle Altavio high boots and was keen to see if anyone has these and if they can share a real world viewpoint, good, bad or indifferent.

Or, happy for recommendations for a high leg waterproof boot costing <£200.
Thx

I think my Aigle high boots must be the forerunner of the Altavio boots. Good grippy soles, light weight and a good level of waterproofness - I do give them a regular spray of proofer just to make sure. I got a bit fed up with heavier solid leather boots for long days on the hill and found these were much more comfortable. Seem to be a bit wider in the foot which suits me. I would go for another pair when they give up the ghost, but, as ever other folk will have their preferences.:tiphat:

Thanks.
That helps, esp the wider last bit - I have chunky plates!!
