Airgun + nv required

Hi all
Im after some help. Farmer friend who is not doing so well trapping maggies this year wants an air rifle to knock them out of trees or off top of his Larsen. Also wants to have a pop at the rats around the yard so nv required.
I have a Hawke scope to donate to the setup.
Im thinking Pard rear add on, and a gas ram break barrell air rifle. The BSA Lightning looks ok, and the brand new price seems budget.
He is worried the whole shebang will be £1k, but I am determined to get him sorted for way less.
Anyone got a secondhand Pard and or air rifle kicking about??

I have now sourced a Pard from a kindly SD member. Just need a sound break barrel air rifle, had a quick trawl through classifieds but nothing seen.
Anyone got one?, must be close to 12 ft/lbs

I've ordered a crossman springer .177, comes with a 3-9×40 scope. £275 delivered, should do him just fine.
Secondhand Pard 007 sorted, so that's the lot sorted I hope for just over £400.
