Alaska predator hunting trousers??

Anyone had any experience of this brand? Very little about them online, which always makes me suspicious....

Had a good look at their stuff last month. I was looking at the Performance Jacket and trouser set it ticked a lot of boxes for me (3l shell, soft quiet outer material, pit zips, poachers pocket good length, good waterproof/breathability rating etc). Young Finnish brand, who are really helpful if you email them. I didn't buy it in the end, and the main reason was that Alaska 1795 direct are selling the jacket and pants reduced at 199 Euros, but they won't ship to the UK, and the only place to buy them from in UK is Hunting Outdoors, who are still asking £500 for the set. Alaska are selling the Jacket alone for 130 euro, and Hunting Outdoors selling it for £250. Would have been worth a punt at 200 euro for the set, but not going to chance £250 on an unknown jacket alone. Appreciate everyone needs to make a margin and there are costs involved, but I asked Hunting Outdoors why there was such price discrepancy and they didn't get back to me.

Fair points, and it is a shame we will pay more but this is not much of a surprise, and to be fair, those trousers are £160 vs €119 which doesn’t include tax and import duty..... so I don’t see the U.K. price as unreasonable in the context. It’s to be expected now we left after all.

I have bought the apex suit and tried it all this season. I am super impressed with its performance. I thought i would put it to the test and went for the whole range. Merino base layer leggings and top followed by merino mid layer fleece then on top the apex range outer. First class clothing that is better than other Scandinavian clothing that is twice the price. The outer layer dries very quickly and is super silent and for me is my new go to outfit whatever the weather. Just as good in the wet as it is in the dry. Plenty pockets for all the added gizmos required for a day on the hill. I will definitely be buying more of this range and have found huntingoutdoorclothing to be very good to work with

My guess is with the knee area having a double stitched patch then it will make bending at the knee an issue.
