Alpex 4K software

Hello , I’ve heard people cursing the software update on the 4k and wishing they’d not done it because the reticles are as good? , does anyone know if brand new ones have original or updated software on them , ? Or is it a simple thing to reinstall software as needed? Cheers, Steve .

I’ve had 4 Alpex’s (sold one on) and have updated the software every time it’s become available. Never had an issue and wasn’t even aware of a reticle issue? The 4K is my main stalking optic.

I’ve updated the last firmware with no issues

Also the brand new ones don’t have the latest software . It will tell you in the app if it needs updating. Just follow the promps. Then do a restore to finish
