Anatomy, shot placement and terminal ballistics
Sunday 8th June, FE Larder at Grizedale, Cumbria, £75.00
Available to BDS members and non-members this one-day event is aimed at deer managers, it will be a hands-on course held at an FE deer larder. Led by Peter Green, the UK's leading deer vet looking at deer anatomy and the effect of shot placement. Assisting will be Simon Roch, an orthopaedic vet, stalker and recognised expert on ballistics. Simon has been using non-lead ammo for over twenty years and will be looking at terminal ballistics, in particular the differences we need to consider now we are predominantly using NL. Numbers are limited as it's a hands-on practical delivery.

To book please contact Nick Jackson on chairnorthwestengland@bds.org.uk

I’ve seen the shot placement lecture with Peter Green, if you have the opportunity to go, take it.
I must confess, this was one of the most informative and valuable sessions I have attended.
When Peter presents, pin back your ears and listen, he has forgot more than most of us will ever know.
