Another fawn

@K333ROE: What kind of issues are you thinking about?
All to do with the cleaning out of the carcass, and the way it was taken away, however these are based on UK "Best Practice" and perhaps your guide lines regarding contamination of the carcass is different from ours. Just a personal observation given that you posted it on a UK forum.

Do any of you know the land this was shot on......I'm guessing not, was the car behind the deer.....? no, was there plenty of dead ground behind the deer, apparently so from what the camer showed you, but as has been discussed on here at length before only the guy pulling the trigger can say if the shot was safe, why are you publicly condemning this video? As for the meat hygiene angle, so he drained the blood out of the cavity by turning it over......ok, not best practice, but I know I've done it often enough for deer that I'm going to be butchering myself. So what! Go shoot some deer guys, as the OP clearly does and stop condemning people for posting videos otherwise people won't want to share their stories for fear of public flogging.

Check the frame at 1:05 to 1:09 pal it shows a better view of the car on the road behind the shot. Everyone has an opinion but does not have to rant it!

Ae we watching the same video, the shot is fired and the car appears somewhere off to the right God knows how many hundreds of meters away..... It's hardly behind the shot......?? anyway, sorry for 'ranting' but I for one enjoy seeing poeples hunting vids especially when from overseas and I would like to encourage more of it not put people off.

Wow, they mustn't have many cars in West Yorkshire, either that or you turn down a lot of land and/or shots. I would never take an unsafe shot but he takes the shot with ample backstop, then the car you are referring to is only seen as he pans right, after the shot, which is when the road comes into view.

I too love to see shooting and hunting videos from other countries etc, but as per normal, the slightly altered saying fits, 'those that can't, criticise...............'

Criticism for criticisms sake. Go and shoot some deer indeed, in the real world. And seriously guys you would sh*t the bed if you ever went stalking in Scotland and saw a red stag being dragged off the hill. UK Best Practice does not cover every real world scenario.

And thank you Skovfogeden, great video and great camera work. Thank you for sharing
