A bit "marmite" was George but even so his knowledge was to be admired and respected.
Members will be aware from our previous post of the sudden and unexpected death of George Geear, Vice-President Emeritus of the HBSA on the evening of the 8th February.
His wife Emma has been very touched by all the kind messages she has received and thanks everyone.
George’s funeral will be held on at 13.00 on Monday 4th March at Parc Gwyn Crematorium, Narberth, Pembrokeshire, SA67 8UD. The funeral directors are John Roberts & Son of Pembroke Dock. Emma is conscious that it may be difficult for many to attend and arrangements have been made to live stream and record the service for those who may wish to “attend” through that medium. Details will follow.
Emma requests no flowers please. Donations to the Royal British Legion in memory of George.
