Another knife thread - sorry guys

Hi everyone , I was looking through my knives and if I'm honest out of the 12-15 I own , I'm honestly not entirely happy with any of them . So I've flogged them and got rid of some .

I need a new knife , my budgets about 50 quid so don't bother recommending Alan wood etc .
I shoot all species of deer so the knife needs to be suitable for everything from bleeding reds to gutting roe .
Ihavebeen considering a swingblade .
Oh and I already have a mora , but if I'm honest I do think they have their limits ! So don't want any mora suggestions !

what i find is a nice slim blade in stainless long enough for the bleed but narrow enough for the anal canal in smaller deer but strong for atlas, with these in mind you wont go wrong i feel the swingblade is abit bulky and short to really work on all and you will need a back up for getting into narrow areas.
here is mine for an idea of shape that i think works, atb wayne

I'm not saying Waynes is a Nieto, just that they are reasonably priced knives and perform adequately.

mine is a home grown one the first one i left in scotland so had to remake it . i used one from john robson off here and i saw the narrow blade so just did my own take on his , i want to style the handle abit better for my hand but will use antler next time.

Can I make a polite request - please post equipment related threads in the Equipment and Accessories section. This is the second knife thread of yours I have moved today!

Thank you

I'm a bit of a sucker for a nice knife. I like small handmade with leather moulded pouch. I have lost a few in the field as well.

If I wear one like this on my belt now it will only be a back up and more a 'fashion' item than anything else. I have been using a few different cheaper makes as my primary recently. The latest is a cheap mora that I bought from someone on the site. I think I will be using this one until I loose it.
