Been out for lunch with some mates today and when i got back i was mooching around the house when i had that feeling come over me, looked at the time, quick calculation and i could get on the ground at the plantation with 30mins of light left, if there’s one there that’s plenty of time.
Grabbed the gear and shot up the road.
Sure enough spotted one in the distance but skyline so no shot, lost sight of him, used the wind and made my way up to where i last saw him.
Managed to get in position in a gap in the hedge and he just kept coming towards me oblivious. One in the nut sorted him with 9 mins of light left.
Back home, hanging in the chiller and just finished tea.
