Had a kestrel (American type) nesting in the eaves at a former employers building. Raised three chicks, and we found decapitated sparrows in the lot for weeks until they went out on their own.
I really don’t think so, the dogs wont tolerate them .
It looks like the birds are being killed early in the morning, some of them are still warm and limp when the dog brings them in at 8.
I think its got to be crows/magpies or a spar. The crows I can deal with, I’ll have to live with the spar.
