Any know where I can find a wildcat predator 8 mod cover?

Been looking for one of these but can't seem to find one, must be 8.5 inches long.

Can any one help, any one selling one second hand?

Send the wife down to the fabric store to buy a scrap of neoprene - make sure she buys black or green. They seem to buy up the waste from the wetsuit industry so there are some bright colours available.


Wrap round the moderator and fix using carpet glue. Mine's has been trouble free these past 2 years.

Try a Neoprene Double Barrel Cover cut to the length you require Jack Pyke have them for sale for £6.95. Bushwear sell them as well. With a bit of effort will also fit T8.

I use a sleeve off a childs Realtree shirt, it's much thinner than neoprene and cheeper but does not offer as much impact protection (if you're the clumsy type!).

Just be careful not to cut the child when you remove the sleeve.

DIY job here with some 2-3mm soundproofing foam. Its slightly stretchy, so glued round the edges of the foam, cut a little smaller than the mod so as to get a snug fit. Also means that the mod can still be taken apart with the cover still attached to the various parts. Down side is that its still black but at least it cuts out the metallic ting on catching branches.

Saw them in the Jack Pyke catalogue, last night two sizes in cammo neoprene about £7.
