Gentlemen I have consulted with my two colleagues and Co owners of the site.
All three of us would like to emphasis that we try our best to make sure that all advertising for overseas hunting/stalking or indeed in this country is genuine. Not an easy task at the best of times!
- I would always ask for genuine recent references.
- Make sure the hunt is on paper and you know exactly what you are paying for.
- Make sure the hunter/guide/outfitter is insured (Many are not, even in this country. If you are paying to be taken stalking in the UK THE GUIDE needs to be insured.
However with this recent thread it was alarming to see such veiled threats from the OP.
Since the collapse of the Soviet Union there has been a whole host of outfitters and agents cropping up in eastern block countries. I have heard some real horror stories over the years, mostly to do with hunting Ibex and sheep. There is a rash of people advertising Driven Wild Boar hunting where ever you look these days, and I have no doubt many give good value and service. However threats to any of our members from someone advertising on here selling Wild Boar hunts will not be tolerated, and if there is a professional hunters association within the country they should be reported.
None the less we are banning Lasarotta from this site for the threatening remarks in their post.
Thank you.
