Anyone used this jacket?

Looking for a new jacket soon. Doesn't have to be totally water proof but solid enough to shake off a bit of rain and quiet with good pockets. Quite like the Deerhunter stuff and had my eye on the Deerhunter Pro Gamekeeper Jacket. Anyone used it or something similar in design to the attached pic?

mate has one - the brushed finish is really quiet and he stayed dry on a soaking walked up day last November.

I have a very old Deerhunter jacket which still doesn’t leak after 13 years of hard use/abuse. I find their kit quite good for the money.

Yes, I have one which I bought just before lockdown so I haven't really given it a good weather testing yet other than a gentle stroll in some drizzle during which is was fine. As mentioned, it's very quiet. Perhaps the only early observation would be that the elasticated internal storm cuff is tight....although I suspect that may ease with wear.

I've had a Deerhunter Montana jacket for ages and it's been great so I'm hoping the same for this one. For the price, I think it's a really good coat.

I bought the exact same jacket last year and I'm very pleased with it

Excellent gear for the money. I dont have that jacket but I have Deerhunter Mouflon winter trousers and Harkila pro hunter Goretex, Pro hunters leak like a sieve and Deerhunters keep me dry. Cant recommend Deerhunter enough

Haven't used this jacket but have lots of Deerhunter and it performs as good as higher priced premium brands IMHO. I buy end of line kit so great value.

Using a deerhunter montana thats about 7yrs old liner is starting to delaminate its my second deerhunter had the first one for 6yrs till it was borrowed from the boot of my car its very good for stalking without liner in summer also have a ram pain colour for rough shooting if you can buy end of line they are a real bargain wouldnt duy anything else.Dave
