AR type switch barrel.

Does anyone know of a Straight pull AR platform that can be caliber swapped? I’d like a .223 for service rifle and a 9mm for gallery both in an AR type configuration such as a Bradley but was wondering if one you can swap the upper is available to save some cost of buying both.

In theory it would be possible, but I would say the costs of getting a setup like this made (especially here in the UK) would not be worth it, and your better off just getting two dedicated rifles. Personally Im a big fan of the Schmeisser offerings

The issue is a Schmisser with decent triggercam etc is around the £2500 mark, and a Bradley would be about the same - for what is essentially the same platform.

I would imagine it would just be an upper switch and a mag adapter (I use a Hahn, which uses 32rd, straight Colt mags). Since it's not a repeater, I'm assuming someone has figured out how to lock the bolt in place for a 9mm (9mm uppers are usually a blow back design with a heavier buffer for a semi-auto)? You'll need to ask about the bolt carrier as well. Some of the older 9mm bolt carriers won't function with certain hammer/trigger set ups. Most modern ones though, function with a standard fire control group.

Unfortunately all our ones are straight pull sir, we aren’t allowed semi-autos!

LMT's are able to calibre swap (changeable barrel) but not sure you'll be able to find a 9mm conversion for it

i've got one with a 223 barrel and a 300 blackout plus a .22lr for gallery shooting

Is what you want not just one lower and two uppers in different calibres?

You'd need a mag block adapter for the 9mm, but these exist..
Just spotted one of these mag block adapters on the Dragonfly Ordnance website earlier this evening.
