Are we kidding ourselves?

most green camo looks black at distance especially when wet. A paler colour camo can be useful in decieving crows ,blackbirds ect into not giving away your position if you move very slowly through a wood. For deer any pattern that doesnt break up the human body outline is pretty pointless as they cant see the colours we see anyway . As a rule lighter colours work better than darker unless you can keep to deep shadow. The best i,ve seen so far is the american "stiks and limbs" the colours are a bit wierd but the pattern works well against almost any background with the strong black lines serving to break your outline. I,d probably wear mine more if i could find it !

Why do they insist on wearing cammo at country shows.....whats that all about? Breaking up the outline is key reall,y my pointer is black and white no green or cammo on him anywhere but when he is motionless on point he is a real problem to see, maybe when he pops his clogs i'll make a stalking jacket out of him.
