Tried it a couple if times now, and asked others shooter with Garmin and the same issues.

Mine has been great so far! Not a fan of the app personally but it does all i need as a standalone. Used with .22 sub 12 Air Rifle, .22LR and .243

Had mine for about a year, much easier to set up than my magnetospeed though they both recorded the same mv.
Used it on 22 air gun, 22LR, 223 Rem, 30/30, 308, 357 mag and 35 Whelen without any issues, both with cast and jacketed bullets; cast not always successful on the magnetospeed.
The dinky stand is OK on a bench but the thread is common to most camera and scope stands and you can get it on a set of tripod sticks with a bit of faffing so it's quite adaptable for the field where not everything is flat.
It was about £100 cheaper than the garmin which was probably the clincher.
I like using it and would recommend it to any handloader as indispensable.
