Hi bill I’ve got to say I’ve never noticed that before but have just taken a good look and it’s so minute I can’t tell, the picture does enhance it somewhat. Definitely is a lovely gun but to be honest I’m too scared to use it incase it gets damaged.Looks like a very nice gun with good wood. However, there looks like there is a piece of wood missing on the left underhorn where it meets the action side? Please confirm. Bill.
I wish the second hand market was better but alas as it’s not a British gun they don’t hold the same value but I have had Holland and Hollands and quite honestly say there isn’t much between them to the eye. These are well over £20,000 if ordering one today from AYA
Chokes are both open and barrel is 26 this gun was built for grouse but I have used it on some high birds it’s all about cartridge selection. I’m based on the Isle of Wight but I am over Winchester way quite a lot. What are the chokes and barrel length?
Where are you based? As you are using Greenwoods I image somewhere in the south?
