BASC DSC1

X army at my rifle club who puts the odd 22lr onto some one else's targets now and then.
The looks on there faces when they count the number of holes in there card's as to how many shots they have fired is priceless but you have to keep a straight face.

Is it correct, that on the shooting assessment, only factory rounds can be used?

When I did mine years ago, I must have slipped the net, I did hear that it was now enforced.

Up to the organisation running the course and how they do their risk assessment. Nothing to do with the qualification.

Most of these courses use somebody else's range so it may well be down to the owner's H & S policy or insurance. I don't see that buying a box of ready-mades is any big deal but no doubt keen reloaders will think differently.

I needed to check your location!
Sadly (not for me), I’m guilty of doing just that on occasions. Two weeks ago, a buddy was zeroing a 10 22 and had only shot 3rnd groups onto 4 of the 5 targets and at 25 metears not done too well, I grouped 3 in the 10 and then lstened to him telling my mate how well he’d done 👍 My mate said “show fred he’ll be impressed” not laughing was difficult, some sod told him a few seconds later (had been standing behind me and noticed I was shooting on his target 🎯
