I'm passing on a Wembley Junior that was my Uncles' to my Nephew. I made a new leather piston washer for it new breach seal and gave it a good overhaul. I bought a cheap Richter scope to go on top to replace the old one that had unfortunately broken. The scope was cheap, but it is truly awful and I'd like to get him something better. Does anyone have a nice cheap compact scope that wouldn't look overly large on this diminutive rifle that they would like to shift?

I've got a BSA Scope that was fitted to an FX wildcat for the purposes of gun trader photos. When I bought the gun the scope came gratis. Free to you if it's of any use, but might not be any better than what it's replacing

3-9 x 40 (I think) with mounts and I'm pretty sure it's unused.

Its a really good move to give a junior open sights to start with , it's an important stepping stone imo that should not be missed out .

This is true, but by the time I had purchased new open sights, both post and rear sight were damaged, it would have been better to just buy a new rifle.

Did you get sorted with something?

I did thank you. The Grouse is generously passing something on so the Nephew will get an upgrade in the new year.
Good. Glad you're sorted.
I just came across an air rifle scope I forgot I had and don't need, and remembered your post. That's all.

I think it would be a good move to make all learner drivers start with cars that have crash gearboxes.
Ken.
