Basix trigger Howa 1500

Hi there looking for wee bit help ,I have took the existing trigger out which a felt was bit heavy and replaced it with basix trigger but the safety won’t engage with the stock on if I take it out it will which means it is hitting stock can this be skimmed a bit to allow more for safety to engage thanks g

Look for a witness mark on the stock inlet where the saftey lever may interact with the stock side

Remove material in stages until the lever moves freely and saftey engages properly
