BBC Scotland - The New Wild

Glad someone is capturing our native red deer on film before they are all culled by Scottish gov but shame it is the BBC.

Great wee film and i am sure that the stag on Rum will have a massive % of his genes in the hinds after holding them for 4 years or more. He will have more than likly bred with his Daughters and doubled up those might genes. I dont feel there is a real need for a one to one in a lab to see how nature works for the majority it is Crystal clear.

Great programme. Always something new to learn; I had no idea that Manx Shearwaters migrated to South America.

Lovely to see the Temperate rainforest section from Taynish peninsula. I have spent many happy summers there. A magical place.

Those red deer stag shots were great. Quite an animal. Can he hold them for another year........?
