Online training with 20 video presentations, digitized learning resources from the BDS' Training Manual for Deer Stalkers and 27 interactive quizzes that test your knowledge and understanding.

Full support from the BDS Training Team throughout - including a live online Q&A session.

All five DSC1 assessments (in-person at a BDS training venue) with a qualified Assessor

Upon completing all in-person assessments to the required standards on this course, you will receive a nationally recognised, quality-assured, DMQ Level 1 Deer Stalking Certificate (DSC1).

Distance learning (online) is usually more effective, more convenient for the trainee and much cheaper . I used the BDS course during "lockdown", it was excellent. Assessment was done on the same day as the shooting test . Look at how successful the Open University has been over the last 50 years! A day or two of stalking with a guide would be a useful addition.
