Wanted: Beating !!!!!!

would like to get experiance of beating , have my own transport and not looking for payment just the day out .
Would prefer the Essex area if poss . available some weekends and one week day every week .

Most shoots will have there beating team now, plus the season is nearly over 1st feb, i would suggest asking nearer the start of the next season

May I suggest that you go to Southend-on-Sea about 1am tonight and pinch some bloke's girlfriend's bottom? That should give you an experience of an Essex beating...

Most shoots will still be happy for a free beater mate. Ask around the farms

There is no need to beat for free. You are giving up time so you should be duly rewarded.

Bit late in the season now though but word of mouth is the way forward for next season.

If I offered free beating and a shoot took me up on it, then they would not be the type of place Iwould want to go anyway !

Oh ok see your point , i understand it was a bit late asking but thought i i had even one days experiance ,i would be a better bet for a shoot next year .
if my logic makes sense to anyone but me .and offering my services for free was to make it more attractive for someone to offer me experiance but take your point .

I am sure there will be people still going, we have got four days left yet. Might be a bit far to come though.
Offering to beat for free means to me that you must be keen, I wouldn't expect any one to beat for free, but it might get you a foot in the door.

Thanks Mate , yes keen and yes it was to hopefully get me a foot in the door , thanks for the offer will travel wherever i have too .
